Sugarplum Ball

Sugarplum Ball is our annual gala event with more than 1,600 attendees hosted at Mardi Gras World. This black-tie affair raises more than $1 million dollars and has raised more than $10 million dollars since its inception in 1981. Sugarplum Ball is the premier event for Manning Family Children's and provides a unique opportunity to connect with our most prolific donors and community supporters. All proceeds benefit Manning Family Children's.

Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is our annual Halloween extravaganza hosted in conjunction with Audubon Zoo. This three-day community focused event is a fun-filled family affair for children up to age 12. Boo at the Zoo features sponsored Trick-or-Treat Houses with candy, spooktacular games, crafts, music, and costume contests for the whole family to enjoy.

Holiday Parade

The Manning Family Children's Holiday Parade is our newest fundraising event. This world-class parade winds through the French Quarter and CBD and offers local and national news coverage, while featuring sponsored custom floats, large helium balloons, and the marching groups and bands signature to New Orleans parades.
